In this Project the summit as an image motif and the act of retouching are interpreted in various ways. The summits are „retouched“ physically and mentally. By overlapping and combining text descriptions, projections, material and bodies, existing images transform into new collages. With the shifting of perspectives, leaving gaps and reframing, the act of the „mise-en-scène“ and the act of „showing“ becomes visible or even unmasked. In this showing, Waltraud Brauner and Liv Schellander give an insight into the first rehearsal phase in the frame of their Tender Steps Residency.
